Programme Outcomes
- Purpose: purpose of historian researchs case and fact occuring during history with contemporary methot, purpose of historian can obtain methot finding out and following discrepancies of approach and information changing occuring with academic. So, historian obtains the equipment can follow closely development in self area. Historian with obtaining information and approach creates the student profile sharing.
- Target: Target of historian relates cause and effect among cases and historian survey historicaly problem causing a base of historical and draw conclusion historicaly, historian helps tat ıts students obtain skill employing as researchs in public and private establishment which self constantly.
- To be able to express his/her knowledge and skills in the field in written and oral Turkish, to support this with at least one foreign language knowledge, to follow the developments in the field from online sources and to gain awareness by taking at least two out-of-field courses during the learning program.
- To be able to establish a cause and effect relationship between historical events, to be able to look at daily problems arising from a historical basis from a historical perspective and to make historical inferences, to be able to constantly renew himself, to be able to access information, to be able to gain the skills to work as a teacher in educational institutions and as a researcher in public and private institutions.
- To be able to have the knowledge, skills and experience to identify learning needs in the field, to enlighten the environment and society, to produce and evaluate solutions to possible problems.
- Can take part individually or as a team member in social and scientific activities organised within the scope of lifelong learning, can lead.
- To be able to organise projects and activities with a developed sense of social responsibility, to comprehend national and universal values, to be committed to these values and to follow current knowledge and practices.
- To have detailed information about the past institutional (administrative, military, financial, etc.), religious and social structure of Turkish society and humanity and the experiences they have had and the mentalities they have, and to have an idea about their impact on the present.
- To be able to examine, analyse and evaluate the concepts, ideas and data related to the discipline of history with the research method of social sciences. To be able to use the advanced theoretical knowledge acquired in the field, to determine the limitations of the field such as boundary, scope, time and space.
- To be able to use his/her knowledge and experience in theoretical and applied fields.
- To be able to observe social, humanitarian, scientific and ethical values in his/her studies in his/her field and in sharing his/her knowledge and achievements.
- Being open to innovations and new ideas in the field and having the competence to evaluate these innovations
