Vision
Our department has undertaken to provide its students with a researcher-historical perspective and to raise them as individuals who have internalized the scientific-academic approach with a critical and questioning approach.At the same time our department has adopted the mission of educating its students as individuals who can think creatively, organize cultural and artistic activities, accept Ataturk's Principles and Revolutions as a guide and make cultural and scientific contributions to their region and country as their duty.
Mission
The history department carries out teaching and research activities at national and international levels with a staff of instructors who are experts in their fields and well-versed in modern research techniques. In this context, it aims to provide its graduates with critical, analytical, scientific thinking and academic research skills that they can apply in their career development, while raising individuals who will be useful to their country with the high knowledge, experience and historical perspective they will bring to their graduates.
